Arcade Game Version

Scion is regarded as the easiest shooters in MSX. If you know the way of warp, you definetely can reach final 100 scene. Scion MSX version may not be a masterpiece.

But arcade version is historical one, its too sad arcade-Scion is also now almost forgotten.

Let's see details of arcade version.





999 scenes in arcade version !

MSX Scion has 99 scenes (to say exactly 100 scenes), but arcade Scion has 999 scenes. Enemy's attack is much harder, to reach final stage is so difficult even if you use warp.

In arcade, one rap has 4 scenes (MSX has 3 scenes), there is one additional web-like stage.








More strict warp condition

Arcade Scion has more strict warp conditon comparing to MSX.

[MSX]
1. After cleared scene 2, bomb to baseball field and racecource and let baseball and horse emerge.
2. In the beggining of fortress stage, flying over Sfincs and let it's face upside.
3. On next rap, after cleared scene 2, staying in the center road.

[Arcade]
1. After cleared scene 3, bomb to forest, baseball field and racecource and let farmer, baseball and horse emerge.
2. In the beggining of fortress stage, flying over both two Sfincs and let both their face upside.
3. On next rap, after cleared scene 3, staying in the center road.











Mysterious character only emerges on arcade

On arcade version, side sitting mysterious character sometimes emerges.

According to my impression, it emerges around scene 300-400, but condition unknown.
